If your kid loves all things sparkly, this is the stuff. Glitter Glue looks bright in the tube and goes on even brighter, in nine rainbow shades. Kids love the stuff; it holds objects securely, and it's decorative in its own right. The common tendency seems to be to squoosh as much of it out of the tube as possible and watch it puddle all glittery on the page. Parents may find it annoyingly messy, and although it washes from skin and most clothing, there's a small-print advisory to keep it away from walls, wood, carpeting, and "other materials that cannot be laundered." --Claire Dederer
